Neutron: The Mercury Upgrade
Mercury will be the biggest upgrade in Neutron’s history, transitioning Neutron from Cosmos Hub’s Interchain Security to a fully sovereign Proof-of-Stake network. The upgrade will also introduce:

Cosmos EVM Is Now Open Source
The Interchain Foundation (ICF) has funded Tharsis Labs to open-source evmOS, strengthening Ethereum-Cosmos interoperability. The project will be renamed Cosmos EVM and maintained as part of the Interchain Stack by the Interchain Labs team.
